Prepress Technician

Must be experienced in color correction, PDF workflow and InDesign. Requires a knack for problem solving and the ability to maintain deadlines under pressure. Graphic/Technical Artist

Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator 10 or later, and must be detail-oriented and able to follow supplied specs. Tech artist will work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment on 1 through 4 color projects. Basic knowledge of QXP or InDesign a plus but not required. InDesign Production Staff

Candidates should have a minimum of six months experience with InDesign CS. Must have knowledge of style sheets, master pages, font and color usage, and layers, among others. Manage book projects through effective collaboration with publishers and internal production, design, editorial and prepress teams. Supervise administrative support and billing functions on projects handled. Requires a knack for problem solving and the ability to maintain deadlines under pressure. Provide leadership and sustain positive client relationships while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
 
Ideal candidates should have previous experience in publishing, although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered. Must be motivated, extremely organized and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Microsoft Office experience necessary.

Assistant Project Manager

Support Project Managers on major book projects through all phases of internal production, design, editorial and prepress. Assist in client contact and maintaining schedules and deadlines. Manage small projects independently under the guidance of seasoned Project Managers.
